HAPPY NEW 2006

Good Morning, all

Looks like 2006 breeze in without any major headlines. It's gonna be a good year for everyone. Unlike 2005 when the year ended with Tsunami and was greeted with earthquake. One disaster after another. 2006 will definitely be a good year. Thank God.

Today is the 2nd day of school. Gone were the carefree days (since November), where my children and myself were enjoying ourselves by getting up late in the mornings (bet 7 - 7.30 am)Sob... sob...... Nevertheless, I am happy to note that my children were all gear up, looking forward to their 1st day at school in year 3. They have since grown up. Unlike the last two years when they started school in year 1 & 2. The most dreadful moment was getting them up in the morning from their beauty sleep. When they were in year 1, that year was the most horrible and difficult year for me and my daughter. My son was able to get up after 2 or 3 nudges but not my girl. It was the most trying period for me, as being patient and also trying to keep my cool and not losing my temper. I remember very clearly on one occassion, when I tried to wake her up in the morning, she refuses and attempting to show her tantrums. I lost my cool and insanity and almost immediately exploded. I regretted what I did on that day. Even until today, I still remembered clearly what I did to her. Poor girl. When she refuses to wake up, I practically dragged her from bed by pulling her hair . My heart aches everytime this memory flashes back. From that day on, I pray to God to help me keep my cool. I am not proud of myself for what I did to her but both of us have improved ourselves. She, getting up without making much fuss and me, trying to keep my cool. I apologized to my girl later the same day and explained to her what happen and why I did to her. On that eventful day, I have to fly to Indonesia for business trip and I left with a heavy heart. I called home the same evening and talked to my girl. When I came back 3 days later, I personally apologize to her again.

Now both of them in year 3, and I could feel that they have grown since. Getting up in the morning was much more pleasant than the last two years. Even as I keep telling them that they have grown since and I will not be able to carry them out from the room to the kitchen. I still do the same every morning. Mothers will always be mothers. Just like my mum.

Getting them up is a breeze....... As a matter of fact, we have atleast 20 minutes to spare before leaving for school at 7 am. I hope this will keep up always. Those days, I practically have to fly out from the house. hehehe..... My son asked me why his hair is always crew cut. He wants to keep the same hair length when he was in the kindergarten. I told him its school rules and regulations. He have to wait till he is in secondary school to have the same hair length.

Having both of them is godsend.Thank you,GOD. I used to think and wondered when they will grow up. But now, how I wish they were still babies, cute and cuddlely. Times do flies... and I will definitely enjoy and treasure all the times I spent with them.

I hope and pray year 2006 will be a good year for all of u, E,F and M. Let's keep our blog and friday nite session ALIVE...........

Happy New Year... From S
