Morning, ladies. Ah... another day to a brand new week. Nothing much happen over the last weekend. Just the norm, weekend house cleaning and washing. Watched "chicken little" with my two brats yesterday noon and had a good laugh. I was pre-warned by them not to fall asleep half way thru' the movie. I did that once while watching the same movie. Hahahaha. Anyway, I did fall asleep and was snapped out of it by my son.! No No.... sleep. Eventually, I managed to finish the whole movie without falling asleep. Now that was a big hurdle.
Had a good laugh in the afternoon and in the evening a good cry. Yep, u read it right. Was watching the programme over NTV7 - finding angels ? Well, its about a home for children from broken homes and single mothers. There is 1 boy, 12 years of age, pinning for his mother. He was left at the home at age 6 and after 6 years no one, not even his mum came to visit. So every festive season, especially Christmas and Chinese New Year when all his friends from the home gets to go back to their own family, he is left alone. During the programme, he read out his letter written to his mum, aiyo that's when the tears starts to fall. My son, asked why my eyes was red and I said I am having flu. But he questioned me back but why is your eyes red.... ?? Most of the audience including the host felt for this boy. He does not have any memory of how his mum looks like nor does he remembers much about her. Xcept he remembers her saying goodbye to him. How sad.
Anyway, the good news is, they managed to locate his maternal grandmother from Muar and better still photos of both him and his mother together, taken when he was just two years old. Apparently, his mum left him at the home cos she cannot take care of him while working and her husband is a drug addict and was sentenced to jail. His grandmother gave him "angpow" for every year that he was not around.
So, the host have 7 days to try to locate his mum and next week, hopefully see some good news.
After the programme, had dinner at Happy Garden kopi tiam. Had mee hun kueh and fried lala chien. Yum Yum,,,,,
