30 Dec 05

I forgot to tell u gals that I met Tun Mahathir and Tun Hasmah in KLCC on Wednesday 05. Wah....!!!! I even shaked hands with both of them and wished them HAPPY NEW YEAR. Both of them appeared friendly. I was lucky I was not stop by their bodyguards.. hhehehe. Well, I was walking along the shops and suddenly some familiar face caught my attention. Eh.. that looks like Tun Mahathir walking towards me..!!! C...oo..oo..oo..o..l..ll..ll..l.. Too bad I dont have a camera with me, otherwise I would have a shot with both of them. Wah........

Today is the 2nd last day of year 2005. HHHMMMM.... another year another year older. As the saying goes, when we are young at heart, we are forever young... hahaha.

Lots of events comes and go, we had fun time, trying times and hard times and all sort of other times. Nevertheless, its been a good year for me and I hope its also a good year for each of you. Of course, work is never finish. Now, we are looking forward to the Bonus and increment from the Management. Hope the reward is worth the effort.

Well, Wish you all HAPPY NEW YEAR and hope lots more to come for year 2006 for everyone.

Merry Christmas

It's Christmas eve today. A bit quiet at the office but since I was on 1/2 day's leave yesterday, there're some things to follow up before the long weekend holiday.

After my 'sudden' departure from the party last nite, don't know what will happen from here on. It was as though I made a statement .. ie for them to choose between the rat or the tiger. I know I have put everybody in a difficult situation... but I am prepared to lose. Not that I think they will abandon me completely but I guess they would figure the wisest course of action would be to carry on as if nothing's changed. It's been months since I organised anything.I used to be the organizer for most of the group's gatherings. They would take over the organising and issue invitations to both rat and tiger... so when I said I would lose it's because I have more or less decided that where there is a rat, there won't be a tiger and in the end, the rat would take over ... Very sad, hor?

Last night everyone sensed Grace wasn't in a good mood. I think she guessed that I was going to pull a stunt and she was right. Guess she knows me too well... I think she's mad at me for putting everybody through this kind of situation.

Oh well, nothing on this earth is permanent. When you have to let go, you have to let go. Glad along the way we formed the chiap koot club ..Thank you for rescuing me last night.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2006.

God Bless always.

Monday 19 Dec

This is my third attempt to contribute towards our blog. The 1st time was in the evening at work. I was finishing my work and there was a sudden urge to write about some thing which I have forgotten. I was at my 3rd paragraph, when I noticed sudden I was off line. My colleague have shut down the server without informing me... Wah.....&^$ again was flying out. This time softly.. lah... He normally will advise if I would be using the server but that eventful evening, he did not. Well, that was one. The second was on Saturday, last week. This time I managed to save as draft but the most embarrasing thing is, I cannot locate my saved draft..... ahahahaha... So here I am again.

It's been a tiring weekend for me as I was travelling since two weeks ago. Nope.... not pleasure but working trip. It's most hectic as there wasnt much of down time while in Indonesia. THe moment, customs formalities have been taken, the action starts. The journey is the most tiring as the infrastructure is not as good as Malaysia thus making the journey long and uncomfortable. To and fro travelling time would take almost 5 - 6 hours. Meeting with the customer about 2 hours or less and then back on the road again. When back to the office, emails to reply, quotation to quote, and others.

This year is a pretty hectic year for me since mid July till now. I hope to have some breather next year.... Hoping... ha..hoping......

Anyway, regarding the 4fems request of seafood... E cant wait till CNY. E better do some rationing as after this trip maybe just maybe in January another trip but very unlikely before CNY. Hope all of you will enjoy the seafood..... F will have a better chance coz F offered RM6.50 / kg..... :-)

Looks like our weekly session have to take a back seat as everyone seems to be busy with either dinners, parties and dinners.

Nevertheless, it's been a good year for me and hope for everyone, too.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR....

AirAsia free promotions!

heard of them but i am the eternal pessimist so i didnt really believe or trust what they had to say until 2 people got their tickets! i am talking about the 2million free tickets to 60 destinations courtesy of AirAsia. This afternoon midway thru harry Potter's movie i got a call asking me if i wanted tickets to bangkok and i said OK. That was my sister-in-law :) and she managed to get me 3 :) so diane is coming too! They managed to get 14! later in the night i ventured into AirAsia online and saw that it was not all that impossible! Chiengmai caught my eye , so did Phnom Penh :) actually so did all 60 destinations! But hey it isnt really really free lah!! They have those admin charges and fuel surcharge, so the tickets came to 150RM. Ok lah i suppose. The sad thing was when i tried to get more tickets on my own , they declined my credit card ~ wei, platinum lah! how come they dont allow??? :P they said to call telecentre but it was way past 10pm and they close at 9pm! I will try again on Monday ~ hopefully by then seats are still available! In the mean time i will dream of Chiengmai with all my 3 daughters with me !

So ladies , O-grand 4 fems of MSN! Come on , where do we want to go??? i looked into the domestic ones and langkawi will cost us 60RM each , while KK will be 80! HOW? Dinner with the Gang of 13

Since everybody (except M for Money) has been contributing to this blog, thot I'd update you guys too. Last nite I had dinner with my Gang of 13 (literally 13 attended) Occasion : to celebrate 4 of our gang members' birthday in Dec.

There was a couple of awkward moments. Once, when s'body asked how come the'rat' wasn't there? Most pretended not to hear, it was a big group afterall and the venue was noisy. I made eye contact with the questioner (who looked very puzzled bcos everybody started talking at that time but nobody answered her) and said 'not invited'. Poor girl's eyes grew big. Guess she must be wondering who in the group R has offended.

Later, my boss, whose actual birthday was yesterday asked, "where's my cake?" Somebody else said "how we know, normally R brings the cakes" Ab saved the day by saying "no need cake lah... only makes you older.. " Phew!!

Anyway, our Christmas party is scheduled for 23/12 to be held in Michelle's place. Nobody said whether 'R' would be invited... They may, because it's not held at my house.... If they do, who knows, I may just walk out... Hmm.. this means I better drive myself there... will keep you posted on the outome. Have a good day all...

another day gone - 5 Dec 05

Gone another day... well how fast times flies....

Today another busy day for me. %$#@ my colleague who have accepted a last minute job and push the F&^$ job to me to look for vessel for his bloody.. fu... customer. I really hate to do last minute job and if there are back up, its ok but at the end, its still back to me. Its not helping me when he wants to do the job sequence his way to accomodate him and not me. F........ him.

The stupid ass accepted the job when no one in the market is able to provide vessel for the shipment. The beauty is the loading must be on wednesday, 7 Dec. in melaka. Got the cheek to ask me to look for any vessel just to accomodate the customer's requirement. Lucky for him, customer did not ask to do something else, otherwise i wonder if he will do it or not. He bloody knows very well, this customer's requirement is high and not any type of vessel can do.

At the end, after boss have spoken to him, then only he back off. Customer have put a carrot infront for him, ie if he can pull off the job, then the balance 4 shipment will be his. In this line of work, where got company arrange last minute arrangement unless the other party have quoted but not able to do the job. It's like lembu punya susu sapi dapat nama. I will do the shit work and he gets the credit for pulling off the shipment at last minute notice. PTUI..!!! Indians.

There is this joke on whether to kill the snake or the indian. The answer is........... What do you think, ladies ? Let me know tomorrow.

Otherwise, my day is so so. Went back home during lunch to see my angels. They were doing their school homework. When I reached home, both decided to have their lunch. Mum prepared mee sua for them and they happily ate their lunch.

Well, its almost 5.40 pm. time to go home and another day has gone........

Bye bye.... S

gone of another weekend

Morning, ladies. Ah... another day to a brand new week. Nothing much happen over the last weekend. Just the norm, weekend house cleaning and washing. Watched "chicken little" with my two brats yesterday noon and had a good laugh. I was pre-warned by them not to fall asleep half way thru' the movie. I did that once while watching the same movie. Hahahaha. Anyway, I did fall asleep and was snapped out of it by my son.! No No.... sleep. Eventually, I managed to finish the whole movie without falling asleep. Now that was a big hurdle.

Had a good laugh in the afternoon and in the evening a good cry. Yep, u read it right. Was watching the programme over NTV7 - finding angels ? Well, its about a home for children from broken homes and single mothers. There is 1 boy, 12 years of age, pinning for his mother. He was left at the home at age 6 and after 6 years no one, not even his mum came to visit. So every festive season, especially Christmas and Chinese New Year when all his friends from the home gets to go back to their own family, he is left alone. During the programme, he read out his letter written to his mum, aiyo that's when the tears starts to fall. My son, asked why my eyes was red and I said I am having flu. But he questioned me back but why is your eyes red.... ?? Most of the audience including the host felt for this boy. He does not have any memory of how his mum looks like nor does he remembers much about her. Xcept he remembers her saying goodbye to him. How sad.

Anyway, the good news is, they managed to locate his maternal grandmother from Muar and better still photos of both him and his mother together, taken when he was just two years old. Apparently, his mum left him at the home cos she cannot take care of him while working and her husband is a drug addict and was sentenced to jail. His grandmother gave him "angpow" for every year that he was not around.

So, the host have 7 days to try to locate his mum and next week, hopefully see some good news.

After the programme, had dinner at Happy Garden kopi tiam. Had mee hun kueh and fried lala chien. Yum Yum,,,,,

intro from S

Hi everyone. Excited to read about our own blog. A big kudos to E for the effort.

I am S, which also represents "slow coach" cos I am always the last to arrive for our weekly session and most of the time, I will have those kind of "glares" for my 3 other frens.... heheheheeeee.

Well, all four of us are all in the same group, tigeress ! Of course, we are proud being one. Anyway, a short intro about myself. I am the proud mother of a pair of twins, a boy and a girl. Both just turn seven last November 05. They are my angels and the apple of my eyes. At times, both of them are angels but at times... aarghh...........
Well, kids being kids.... Wonder I was like them when I was young ????

As usual, both E and myself is branded as angels cos both of us are kinda soft hearted and softie. We maybe upset over some issue after sometime we sort of forgive lah.

That's all about me......
